Are you ready for a great evening of fellowship, food and fun?  There will be a Meal and a Movie Night  for all adults next Saturday, February 16, at 6 p.m.  We will meet at the Katherine Norr Activity Center behind The Cedars.  It is a potluck, so bring your favorite dish to share.  Enjoy an evening with others from the Crossview Church “family”.  Childcare will be available.  Please sign up in fellowship hall today if you can join us.

 

In appreciation of your support for the local Foods Resource Bank “Sharing the Harvest” you are invited to a celebration dinner on Saturday, March 1, 2008, at 6 p.m. at Autumn Ridge, 11420 Auburn Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana.  Norm Braksick will be the speaker.  Call 627-2296 by February 15 to RSVP.  Dinner will be compliments of Autumn Ridge Golf Club.

The Crossview Café is now wireless!   We are connected to the outside world!  The Café is open to everyone on Sunday evenings during Adventure Club from 5:00 to 6:45 p.m.  There are beverage specials each week and great fellowship.

Life Line Screening is being done on Thursday, March 6, 2008, at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Leo.  Check out the flier in your mailbox for all the details.Welcome to Crossview Church.

 

The Dove’s Nest has an urgent need for volunteers at its stores.  Join others from our church family who are donating their time to this mission.  Flexible schedules are available.  Day shifts are available Monday through Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.  Evening shifts are available on Thursdays from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.  Contact Oleta Bollman at (260) 485-0362 if you would like to volunteer.

 

“Break-Fast”

A day of prayer and fasting at Crossview is being set aside for the first Wednesday of every month.  At this critical time in our church life, what could be more important?  Fast for one meal or for the day.  Focus on the Lord and pray with every hunger pang.  Then, join others as we “break the fast” at 6 p.m. in fellowship hall.  We welcome all (including children) for supper, fellowship and prayer even if you were unable to fast!  After “break-fast” join Pastor Jack at 7:30 p.m. for Crossview at the Crossroads in the café as we study together from the Book of Jude.
